It is a now legal requirement to use a qualified Gas Safe Registered engineer to install a gas hob or cooker. All of our heating engineers are Gas Safe Registered and highly experienced, offering our customers peace of mind that their heating systems and appliances are operating safely and efficiently. We can come to your home and connect your gas hob or cooker to the gas supply safely and professionally, making sure everything is working before we leave.
Before receiving your Gas Safety Certificate, our expert team of engineers will check the following:
✔ Check gas appliances ( boiler, hob, oven, gas fires)
✔ Check flue performance and ventilation
✔ Check combustion
✔ Check carbon monoxide (CO) detector and other safety devices
✔ Check operating boiler pressure

Ashdown Plumbing & Heating Ltd are authorised members of Gas Safe (registration number 132516) and can provide a number of gas/heating services for both domestic and commercial clients.
Landlord Services
Our Gas Safe registered engineers work with letting agents and private landlords to both service and maintain appliances and then provide the required Landlords’ Gas Safety Certification. This is the report which lists all the checks carried out in the annual gas safety inspection, proving that all the gas appliances, fittings and flues provided for tenants have been checked in the last 12 months.
